I am a Developing table tennis player and I am looking to buy a new racket/blade. I'm fed up and I feel like I have done all of the research I can stand, but I cannot make up my mind. I would like any suggestions/comments that you feel could be helpful in any way. I am definitly at the advanced level of play. My style:
I like a good rally. A point where finesse is mixed with crazy spins and varying speeds, but when it gets down to it. I use a wide variety of spin techniques to attack my opponents weakness, all of which with a great deal of speed. I would like to go with a Butterfly Racket, as I have enjoyed the one I have, which is none the less worn out. It was a pre-assembled blade, and not very expensive, and the rubber, although I took excellent care of it, is worn out from 5 years of use. Please give me any suggestions on blades and rubber. I would prefer to tame a beast, then to have a racket that I can control easily. Fast rackets are hard to controll. But that doesn't mean that they aren't precise when tamed. Thanks for your suggestions.
