Table Delivery Instructions
Shipping Method and Duration
Tables are delivered via freight companies like ABF Freight, Estes and FedEx Freight. All tables are delivered free of charge within the contiguous US and include a free liftgate service to the curb of your delivery location. Shipping duration is displayed on the shopping cart and depends on table model and location. Deliveries outside the contiguous US will carry an additional cost. Islands which are part of contiguous states but separated from the mainland may carry an additional cost.
Delivery Appointment
When the table reaches the terminal nearest to you, the shipping company will call you, or you will be given a phone number to set up an appointment. They deliver during weekdays and normally require a four hour shipping window for the appointment (for example 8:00am - 12:00pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm).
Deliveries are made Monday through Friday only. There are no deliveries on the weekend or on holidays.
If you miss your scheduled delivery time, you may be responsible for any additional charges for redelivery and/or storage fees established by the freight company. So please make sure you are at the delivery location at the time of delivery.
Cancellation
Although we offer free shipping to our customers, there are still considerable freight costs involved. If a shipment is canceled after the table is already en route, the customer will be responsible for any fees incurred. Once your table has been delivered in good condition, we cannot accept a return. However, if you refuse a table due to delivery damage, receive a defective item, or receive an incorrect table, you will be entitled to a full refund.
Changing Shipping Address
Additional charges may apply if the shipping destination is changed after the table has left the warehouse.
How to Accept a Table Delivery
We include free liftgate delivery with all our full sized tables. This allows the driver to get the table off the end of the truck without any assistance.
Before signing the delivery receipt it is very important to inspect your freight!
Shipping companies do their best to ensure that your table arrives on time and without any damage. However, sometimes damage can occur during transit. Please do not sign the driver's delivery receipt until you have inspected your freight. Signing absolves the shipping company of any damage responsibility, making it harder to have a damage claim honored.
You have a right to look at the packaging for holes, smashed areas, and other indications of table damage. Your table is sent to you strapped onto a pallet for added protection. If the table is not strapped, please pay extra attention to damage.
If your table arrives damaged, it is very important to refuse the table and write "REFUSED/DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt so we can send you another one. Do not accept a table delivery if the package shows signs of damage.
Please make sure the driver clearly writes the problem on the delivery receipt, and please contact us within 5 days to send you another table.
If everything appears to be alright, then please sign and accept the table.
If the shipping company sent you the wrong table, please do not unpack/assemble it and let us know immediately.
For any concealed table damage found after the delivery please contact us within 5 days of delivery to ensure proper credit/part replacements. If you find your table has concealed damage please do not assemble the table. You are required to keep the original pallet and packaging until the damage issue is resolved. If the table needs to be returned, the original pallet and packaging will be required for the table to be picked up.
What about my other items?
Other items you order with your table such as robots, rackets, rubbers, blades and other equipment are usually shipped separately and a separate tracking number is provided.
Additional Services
Our free shipping includes delivery to the curb of your home or a loading dock. Drivers cannot help move the table from the curb into your driveway, garage or home unless this service has been quoted and paid for ahead of time.
Inside Delivery: Delivery from the curb to the first entrance (~$200)
This service is typically requested by customers who have a driveway and are unable to transport the table themselves from the curb to their garage or home. This service includes getting the table off the end of the truck and transporting it to the first enclosure such as garage, carport or front door.
Delivery to a specific room ($400+)
Placement of the table in a specific room inside your building including transporting the table up or down stairs. Requesting the truck company to enter a home and move the table to a room can be quite expensive, especially if stairs are involved. A cheaper alternative would be to use local movers found on TaskRabbit, Handy or Yelp.
White Glove Delivery - Premium add-on service for RS Barcelona tables only ($350-$450)
White Glove Service makes ping pong table delivery simple. After your new table is delivered, professional installers will set it up correctly, and place it exactly where you want. They will also clear out any packaging and debris from the assembly leaving you and your new table ready to play!
The fee covers table assembly on ground levels only. If there are obstructions (stairs, elevators, etc.) between the door and where you want your table to be assembled, you may be subject to additional fees. Contact us prior to your purchase for precise estimates on your White Glove installation.
This service is available for RS Barcelona table orders only and can be selected on the product page before you add the table to the shopping cart.
Table Assembly Service, Stairs Delivery, Debris RemovalMost of our tables are delivered mostly assembled and can be set up with no tools in 15 minutes or less. However if you think you will need help, we suggest seeking the help of a local assembler/mover. These services are usually found at local moving and storage companies. Independent contractors or handymen may also be available in your area. To locate this kind of help we suggest using TaskRabbit, Handy or Yelp.
Requesting an additional service
If you want to order White Glove Delivery with an RS Barcelona table, please select this option when ordering. If you want to order any other additional service, please make your request using instructions in Step 1 of the checkout process. Please include this information:
- Where you want the table taken (basement, second floor, etc).
- The distance from the curb or loading dock to the entrance the table will pass through.
- How many stair steps are involved in delivering the table to its final resting spot.
Important notes about additional services
- We may not be able to add an additional service if it has not been requested in Step 1 of the checkout process. These services may determine which shipping company we use and it may be too late to make a change once we have started processing your order.
- Some services may not be available to some areas.
- Customers need to ensure that a requested service can be performed at the delivery location. E.g. Door passages and stairways are large enough.
- Please do not pay the driver directly for additional services. Transacting outside of your Megaspin order introduces liability issues in case of damage to your property or the table when the service is performed. The customer assumes full responsibility for any damage from services not requested through us.
