The following message (subject: Forum abuse and ethics) was posted by Bernard, on 10/29/2004 7:56:13 AM:
Hi all, Over the past couple of days, I regret to say that one particular user has been posting abusive and offensive messages onto our freely-accessible forum. Rest assured that we have reported this user and that we are taking the necessary action to minimise the occurrence of similar activities in the future. We would also like to point out that we strictly prohibit messages that promote or encourage illegal activities such as table tennis video piracy. I believe this is not the best way to encourage video producers and broadcasters to invest in our wonderful sport and help make it more popular. Let us all help each other enjoy our sport in an ethical and co-operative way. I thank you all for participating in the forum. Regards, Bernard Webmaster |
