I need advice: I have recently bought seperate rubber and sponges for my old blade. I have assembled a new bat before but with rubber and sponge already together in one piece. I plan to assemble a pip in rubber on one side and a pip out on the other. I suppose my concern is using too much glue since I will need 2 layers per side of the bat. Secondly, I presume one applies glue to the sponge of the pip-in side since applying it to the pip side of the rubber will just allow glue to build up in the gaps and alter the properties of the rubber?? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you |
