The following message (subject: Choosing a Racquet for under 55$) was posted by Prasad, on 12/9/2004 8:41:27 AM:
I have been playing since 3-4 years.Thinking of getting a racquet with good control and speed.

Firstly,
Is it better to go for a premade racquet or choose our own rubber and blades.

If its a premade racquet which one is a bestbuy for under $55?

And for a custom made racquet this is my combination.

Rubbers

Forehand:(More speed,good control,moderate spin)
Yasaka original/Donic liga/RiTC729Geospin

Backhand:(More control,good speed,moderate spin)

RITC729 Geospin tacky/Friendship super729Fx/Palio hk1997Yasaka original

Blade:(More control,good speed,moderate spin)
Butterfly X-Star /Yasaka Gatien 2040 /Yasaka Gatien Allround
/Donic Persson Power Allround

Please suggest me which is the best combination.
Also if i am going for a custom made one ,is it better to choose a good brand (like butterfly) for BLADE or Rubber?

Thanks for your help in Advance!
