Hope it helps! One thing I forgot to mention about Tango. In my experience, soft, relatively fast and "bouncy" rubbers are very difficult to push with. They are also somewhat tricky to serve with -- compared to a stickier, firmer Chinese-style rubber. Most players under 1500 or so do more pushing that they like to admit. Most players push better and loop (or drive) worse with their backhand. You might want to consider putting something on the backhand side that is more user-friendly for serving, pushing, and blocking. There are many choices, but I'd heartily recommend Cream (Jap or MRS). You can, of course, learn everything with the Tango, but it might be a little more difficult and frustrating... bes (Britt) |
