Sriver and Cream/MRS have a fairly different feel to me. I "think" the MRS sponge is a bit harder initially. They are pretty close after the MRS is broken-in. I didn't like the Japan sponge unglued, but it plays well speedglued. It is pretty slow without the glue - but several folks like it. If you speedglue, I'd probably recommend trying Geospin, or possibly FX-EL. The FX-EL topsheet is somewhat similar to Sriver (not tacky). Unfortunately, its sponge is really soft and slow without speed glue. It might make a good backhand rubber for you. Good Luck! bes |
