Hi Daniel, I use inverted Yasaka Mark V 2.0 on forehand, and Dr. Neubauer Pistol 2.0 short pips on backhand. Sponge on Pistol is very soft, this allows me to make defensive shots easier. But it is quite quick at hitting. I also use Joola Tango Ultra 1.8 short pips and Hammond Pro Alpha 2.0 inverted. These combos work well for me. I do not advise using short pips in combo with long pips unless you are a terrific offensive hitter with short pips. Otherwise your lack of topspin, will allow your opponents to adjust to your slower game without to much trouble. You really need to decide what kind of style you want to play. If you're going to use the Long pips, play defensive and only hit the occasional underspin ball. You should have heavy topspin from the forehand to cause cofusion for your opponent. Hope this helps. |
