Some good unglued rubbers that I have played with: Donic Coppa Tenero - consistent, good spin, slow. 729 GeoSpin Red (Regular) - somewhat similar to the Tenero but a bit faster. Juic 999 Elite Ultima - really plays nicely unglued. Faster, bouncier, and spinnier than the Geospin. Not as good (for me) on blocks or pushes. Nittaku Hammond - a whole different critter than when glued. Probably my imagination, but actually seems spinnier, softer, and WAY slower without the glue. I think it just gets too fast for me when glued, which messes with my mind. Nittaku Milford - fairly heavy and hard, but VERY predictable. Enough speed and spin for folks who don't live by the loop... bes |
