I know a 2000+ penholder coach from NYC that says he believes the YE lacks enough power unless you swing like Ma Lin and use a half-bottle of speed glue every time you play. He recommends the gatien offensive, but I don't think that's carbon. He says yasaka has the best shape for reverse penhold players.

If you're really looping, you might try an all wood. If you're mostly just attacking by hitting the ball you should be fine where you are.
