I dont know nittaku reforma and how well it responds to glue but all of the factors you mention above will have a bearing. Generally softer sponges make more noise than hard sponges and More glue=More noise(to some extent). Faster, hard blades are noisy, my old Schlager Carbon was very noisy and a moonbeam I had was also good. I also cut down my blades to a certain size/shape and I believe this helps. I also find that I don't notice the sound so much when I use my bat because I tend to loop rather than flat hit. When I lend it to a friend and I an watching I notice the sound a lot more. |
