Dear Roger, I believe that it is not easy to draw the line.In this century everything change so quick that but one thing is clear to ban something is not a solution. What is the meaning of 200mph? Think a car going 200mph ,honestly is it possible to return a table tennis ball with a speed of 200mph?Because of that reason rallies in a game become so short.Instead of finding solution of this problem ITTF choose to ban slippery rubbers.Banning slippery rubbers do not solve any problems. The result is manifacturerers produced new rubbers and earn more but we players suffer to get used to new rubbers and spend more money.Table tennis will stay with short rallies and you don t enjoy table tennis as in the past.Bye |
