Obviously they won't be as hot unglued as they would glued, but it's not like you'll hurt the rubber by not gluing. Lots of people use bryce unglued. It's one of the rubbers that should be fast enough without glue. However, it will be difficult to generate spin. Heck, it takes a pro swing to get it to spin WITH glue. Personally, I recommend every new rubber be initially primed, even if you're not going to continue to reglue. It just softens, expands and seemingly wakes the sponge up. |
