I sort of have the same problem. I got my Bryce FX sheets from the same seller and one is markedly softer than the other. I can pick out the softer one, or the harder one, for that matter, any time with my eyes closed. You may want to do the same test on the rubbers. In my case, the softer one doesn't have the hitting power as the harder one.
