From what i have heard the life of an average rubber is 60hrs, without speed glue. Rubber cleaners will accelerate deterioration of the surface so dont use them too often. Speed glue will also aid deterioration of the rubber, probably halving the life of the rubber. I think it all depends on the type of game you play. Long pips will need changing less often than reverse, loopers will need to change rubbers more frequently than blockers/pushers. Also, people playing at a higher level are more sensitive to how their equipment performs and are likely to notice changes over time than people who play less seriously |
