It is supposed to have the Stiga 'Mega Tension' feature built into it, along with ACS (air capsule sponge). I think the mega tension is supposed to be a speed glue effect. When speed glued it takes glue well, makes it extremely fast and very loud. However i found that it lacked control and spin, and was very hard to perfrom short returns with ( even though i usually play with glue). Hope this helps
