Rolly, I think you and I are in a minority of those who find the 6030L uncontrollable. As for me, I just have to have a blade that has a bit of flex to it, and I don't feel any flex with the 6030L at all. I play with two or three teenagers who use it, and one of them who is a pure close to table hitter on both wings handles it very well. But this kid never loops or chops -- just blasts everything in sight. The 729 Bomb seems better suited to those who want an inexpensive but high quality blade for an all around game.
