| Alfie, You've heard from few experienced guys (including myself) a very similar theme. Too fast equipment too early, more often than not prevents players from properly developing. Although it can improve your game in the short-term, it is often detrimental to your long-term development, as it compensate for improper technique to generate power. For example, during the 30 years I've been playing TT, I've seen many players who never learned to properly use their legs, hips and shoulders in their strokes because their relied on the equipment to generater power. |
