If you decide to play as a blocker with a long pips rubber, choose it without sponge, it will be more disturbing, and better with smooth pips. If you want to play more offensive and active blocks, you can play with a short pips rubber, better with "Tensor"-like technology. On the forehand, I agree with Rie : why not a Friendship 729? It's cheap, very sticky, but with a good control. And the hard sponge allows you counter-attacking by smashing the ball. |
