Thanks for your insights, David! I think that I just haven't seen a good enough (soft) backspin serve to convert me to the darkside, yet. :) My friend supposed that most top players don't serve with authority because of what you said...it may get driven back at you before you can re-set...or at least enough to put you on the immediate defensive. Again, I am far from the expert on the matter...in fact, I just want to improve my game as much as the next guy! Thanks for your insights!
