It would almost seem 50/50, alright. When focusing on the approximate 4% total that are errors, when I say over, I mean that those balls went over the end of the table. When I say into net, those are the errors that are into the net. One thing that stands out, that I have heard others say, it to match the low throw rubbers with a high throw blade and vice-versa. One way to keep track of that is to write down the results, the number that went over the table and the number that went into net, if any of either, after each 10 balls/hits, noting blade and rubber. Then trying that same rubber on a different blade. I am just recently finding out that those combinations that are close to 50/50 (even 60/40) seem to be the most consistent in games. |
