So, if you find you cannot generate enough spin try and chop or push back to which ever side he is chopping from, try to be consistent at this and if you can try and play him round the table with length and direction. If either forehand or backhand is not very good at chopping play the ball there and hopefully you can easily play a normal forehand drive past him.
