Unless you can generate enough blade speed to exceed the spin rate of the incoming ball, not much will help. If the ball has faster backspin than your blade's upward speed it will tend to jump down. Really get aggressive when you try to loop backspin. Start with your blade low and really rip the blade upward. After you hit a few you'll get the feel for it - then you can spend the next year or five fine tuning the shot ; ) |
