If you watch Wang Liqin, you have to watch in slowmo, but the amount of spin and power he develops is phenomenal... no surprise he's the new world champ (again!). For speed, ryu is great, but the points finish quickly... joo is also fun to watch because of his chops and sudden attacks.... for pips... liu (sp) gouilang (no offense to him, i can't for the life of me remember how to spell his name. also, there was a chinese player in the late 80's early 90's... portly fellow, played close the table... shakehand, hit everything right off the bounce... wang tao (hao?)... he was really fun to watch too... he is on the 91, 93, 95 wttc videos that we can get in the states... |
