but isnt it worth protecting your blade? if you spent more money on it, the more it would cost to replace it. i did a similar project dealing with camera cases....and it was feasable to make a case that was in the 25-50 dollar range. do the math, if you are spending 300+ on a camera, it should be worth it to protect it. also, you are paying for design, and when the designed product is on the shelf, next to the generic ones, there is a huge difference- example- ipod, alienware, incase, LG's washing machines, mach 3 razor, etc
