Wouldn't it be cool if I could invent a rubber that would catch the ball and hold it so that I could wave the blade around and the ball would stay attached. Then at the moment and direction of my choosing I could have the rubber release the ball with the same speed and spin that a normal rubber would originally have.

I would almost never lose a point so long as I didn't just miss the ball, or shoot it right back at the guy. I could just hold my racket up to the net, aim to where ever the opponent had no chance and bang!!!

I would become world champion in no time!!!! After my 4th world championship, everyone would have to acknowledge me as me as the greatest player who ever lived!!!!

People would make tapes of me and try to learn my strokes. Yep, Table Tennis would be great!
