hey richard, have you thought of using long pips? I mean if your forehand is a weakness then use long pips to "cover it"...a lot of players with poor footwork has a major problem returning the shots, while so players don't understand the spin reversal that occurs. By the way, long pips are usually much lighter than other rubbers...and spin reversal is especially enhanced when you use OX (no sponge)hence, even lighter. If your opponents hit crosscourts then just a block with the LPs with nice placement should harm them enough...either forcing a weak return or miss completely. Sounds like your racket is too fast to play defence...try a slower blade. Hope this helps, Gark |
