Sidespin is easily returned by looping over the top. Dont try and hit a soft shot. Another way is to pick up which way its spinning then hit with the spin allowing for the trajectory. So if a server serves a serve that if hit with a straight bat, goes to the left, then hit the ball spinning it the same way its coming and aim to the right!
