It's true but,if u wanna keep them unbreaken for a while u need at least 1mm i think(after long smash and counter rallies).A wery good longpimple for the offence strokes are suppreasily the Feint long 1.1mm it has smoth pimps but are extremly effektive but quite expensive!!(and u can use nearly the same stroke as with normal backside too) I highly recommended it!!! If u can afford it.....another great for the offence are ritc 837(hard pips) and ritc 755...the thing is that nearly all longpipes are quite effective near the the table...
