The following message (subject: Gluing a used sheet back onto a paddle) was posted by koder, on 1/17/2005 6:47:48 PM:
I currently have a set of rubbers on my bat right now, and they have not been used to the extent that requires replacing. I however would like to experiment with other rubber sponge combinations. Now, assuming that I take off the current rubber/sponge, without tearing off chunks of sponge during the process, will I be able to glue this sheet back onto the bat (for example if I'm not satisfied with the new sponge/rubber I'm trying and want to glue the old one back) without drastically changing the characteristics of the sponge? Just curious, as I want to experiement with different rubber and sponge combinations but don't want to be wasteful. I think I should mention that I'm just using regular chack. Thanks to anyone that can help answer my question. |
