Mathboy, Yep, you're absolutely right, Mendo MP is just too heavy. There are two things you can do though to make your blade lighter, however. I tried both of them, with great success. 1) Change your grip to penhold and use only one side. This cuts down on the weight for the rubber by a factor of 2. Do the math, Mathboy! 2) Remove the sponge from the rubber, just glue on the topsheet. Note: for this too work, you must use massive amounts of speedglue. And I mean massive, a layer of 2 mm thickness is recommended. Best of luck implementing these recommendations. Jeffrey |
