Chinese rubbers do tend to be quite heavy if you have thick sponges and the blade is a large one. There are not many options to mke it lighter other than making your blade smaller but I wouldn't recommend that. Play with it and you will get used to the extra weight. If you are not speedgluing, I wouldn't use varnish but ensure you use a TT glue or they will be difficult to remove later. |
