| I have Darker speed 70 (10mm) and the newly released speed 90(10mm). At lease I know that speed 90 IS NOT faster than 70. So I think that 50 may not be faster than 30. I would rank the speed of my one-ply blades from fastest to slowest like this : Darker 70 (10mm) Rorin (9.5mm) Darker 90 (10mm) Neptune (9mm) Olympus (9mm) Senkoh 1 (9mm) IMO, Yasaka Olympus is well balanced in speed and control. Sorry, never play with Darker speed 15,25,30, or 50, can't comment on them. (btw, Rorin and Neptune are harder than the others) If 3-ply all hinoki is on your shopping list, may I suggest Darker 3MAI Gouban (8.5mm) and Yasaka GX-600 (8.3mm). I had pretty good experience with them - better sweet spot and excellent away from table. |
