Just use a damp sponge. When the rubber gets very dirty use a couple drops of a mild dish soap like Ivory. Rubber cleaners that use harsh solvents may seem to work good at first, but can lead to the rubber loosing some elasticity and wearing out prematurely. So I usually save strong solvents like Spinmax, Heptane or WD 40 for rubber sheets that are getting worn out. Once you start using strong solvents you are usualy commited to continue
using them as the sticky softening effect is provided is only temporary.

As mentioned above sweat is a terrible idea for a cleaner.
