i've played with is before, both as a looper and a chopper. to chop, get it thinner, 1.7 or maybe 1.9 is you have really good timing. as a looper, 2.1 is best for mid distance power looping, but there are better rubbers for that (mostly chinese...more spin and cheaper)the main thing i don't like about tackifire d is that it lacks feel close to the table... pushes are sometimes a question and i really hated it for blocking...

by the way... watch joo when you can, like matsushita he flips his racquet most of the time when he chops from the forhand side, so he's still using his long pips.
