I only tried cj8000 as it was cheaper than 729 faster, I had a number of sheets of cj8000 which were very good but then I got a couple of sheets which seemed quite dead when they arrived. The surface was dull and they didn't seem very fast. I think they may have come from a bad batch or they had been stored in the wrong conditions. I had tried faster with the european sponge and knew the quality was good and it played well with glue so i decided to try it with japanese sponge which seems a little quicker but still with lots of spin and control. It also lasts really well, I have used the same sheets for about 8 weeks gluing 3-4 times per week peeling the glue off about 6 times and it still looks/plays as well as ever. I have got some Faster III on order now and will let you know how that plays when it arrives. |
