Well, the hard blades tend to be faster closer to the table. You don't need (or have time) to take a big swing to generate power with these. But then, sometimes these blades dwindle when you back up. A lot of euro, mid distance loopers like softer swedish blades. They feel slow in the short game, but they have a springy power that takes over when you back up and take a full stroke. Then there are some top players like schlager and kreanga that play from a distance and just use incredibly fast carbon blades. Oh San Eun is a very aggresive player, and he uses a soft Korbel blade. |
