Sorry for the late reply. Using speed glue means greater risk to splintering, but I don't know if the number of layers could also be an additional factor. Splintering gives no warning, all of a sudden it is there, so it would be best to seal your blades. Sealing the blade will make the surface a bit harder, hence add a fraction of speed. |
