Dear Poet Rod, My friend ground off a tiny fringe from my MPS. Makes it 30gm lighter -- amazing. After one session, I am finding it a more reliable weapon. The feeling is good. Now it is Sriver B( 2.2)f/h and Tackifire Drive R(2.1 ) b/h.I am aware the rubber thickness makes it even more difficult to chop b/h but when I am in position ( admittedly not often )I can send back a decent chop from mid distance and further.T. Drive I think offers a good balance between spin and control, even at 2.1, even on MPS. 729 Geo Spin is slower than 729 Cream ? Sriver 2.2 f/h allows me to loop and chop ok, but as I progress I may want something more lethal. Merry X'mas all my friends in PP Land! |
