since your only a beginner as you have said,it's pretty obvious that your backhand is your weak spot, that's why they are putting their returns there.i suggest that you put the larger part of your training in improving your backhand,both in defense and offense.in me experience, the forehand topspin come almost instinctively,the backhand offense and defense comes from training.try to explore your backhand man, and i promise you that you will be amazed when you discover the power and unpredictability it can give.
