one thing no-one mentioned is, you seem to be looking for a way to beat them at their game. be confident in your game and FORCE them to hit the shot YOU want. play 3 balls a head of them. if your tactical and not a 3rd ball player you have to think well ahead in the point. ill bet neither of the players you mentioned want to be in a 5 or 7 ball rally. they will get uncomfortable and will press, making mistakes.

player 1.
force this player to get the ball up. short low serves and topspin serves just off the table will get this person to play the ball up which will set you up for easy flips, which i always go behind the player with because its either a winner or a weak high push, and topspin serves just off the table will force them to either slow loop it up, again setting you up for an easy kill or they will try and take it early having to push it back setting up your strong forehand loop.

player 2.
eat that topspin/corkscrew serve up and ram it down their throat. look for it as an opportunity to either drive the ball or high spin loop it back to their backhand. this will force them to step around to hit a forehand because you know they dont want to backhand push a high spinny ball, which will open the table up for you.

point being, stop trying to find a way to beat them and put together a plan that will force them to have to beat you. hit serves and returns that will give you the most predictable next shot and take advantage. if you keep telling yourself "i have to stay away from player B's forehand" everyshot you hit will be tight and over controlled....

good luck
