Great backhand rubber on Butterfly Viscaria. I actually prefer it over Rozena. Gear Hyper feels a bit stiffer which means I have to use a bit more hip and body movement when looping or handling heavy backspin. Blocking and flicks are great. A lot of my friends at the club thought it was Tenergy 05 at first. Used for 2 months and loving it so far.

I am an intermediate TT player, and SANWEI has great world-class equipment at a fraction of the price of brand-names, while never cutting on quality. The SANWEI Gear Hyper is the perfect rubber for the more experienced player who requires high speed and varying spin at critical moments. The hybrid euro-chinese rubber is an outstanding rubber. The european sponge, is soft allowing for high speed, while not losing ball dwell time. The topsheet is at a tension with high spring release creating a satisfying play. The weight is super light, much suitable to backhand, enabling fast, precise blocking and counterattack. Due to the high spin potential, the Gear Hyper is great for service.
