As an upgraded version of the Target rubber, the Sanwei Target National is a better choice for the new 40+ plastic ball. Thanks to the advanced production technique of covering the textured topsheet with an ultra-thin sticky rubber film, this rubber demonstrates both highly elastic performance and good spin effect. Combining these attributes with the cake sponge, the Target National offers strong and sustained power. The Target National has already been selected by many professional players all over the world.

Decided to try as a cheap alternative to H3N Provincial Blue Sponge. After using both for two months, they are very similar. Target National has a bit more speed but less spin than H3N. I feel the short game control is more manageable with Target. I also don't have to boost the Target. I will say a boosted H3N for the first few weeks is so much better. Once the booster goes away, Target becomes my preferred rubber due to the consistent performance you get without having to boost. Loving this rubber so far. Using it on forehand on Butterfly Viscaria with Gear Hyper 37 degrees on backhand. Great cheap setup for developing and intermediate players.

The new Target National rubber is very different from the old version. More tacky topsheet but after only 3 practice sessions there is a large area of wear at top of rubber( from backhand looping) where pips already showing through. Have never seen a rubber degrade this quickly. I really liked this rubber and bought 4 more sheets before my 3rd practice session where I noticed the degradation. 9 hours of play should not produce this. Rubber was kept clean. Will try some of the other sheets to see if this was an aberration or occurs across all sheets.

Very tacky cheap rubbers good quality.. paired it with my Sanwei Para aramid carbon blade on Fh and Gear Hyper on BH.
Overall I really like it. Even like it better than the butterfly Rozena rubbers.. I’m hoping Tenergy05 Hard is close for my new blade (Vescaria) or maybe I can put Target national on the Vescaria. Hmm

Tacky rubber, Max thickness is 2.15mm, 39-40 degree hardness (Chinese rating). I’ve tried this rubber (Black/Red Max) on a Stiga Clipper Classic FL/Sanwei Fextra FL (both same composition) and Yasaka Goiabao 5 FL.
Overall it’s a wonderful rubber, I think Red could be used for Intermediate players, black certainly requires more practice.
