Reviews of DHS Hurricane Hao 2 (2)

Probably top blade for rpb play, and only for that, you can't do traditional backhand with this blade and its trajectory. Definitely not the easiest to use, more powerful than pure woods like OC but not as powerful as ALCs. So as a result you can't just go full strength with expect good control like you do with purewoods nor can you do passive strokes and rely on carbon layers like you do in ALC stroke. Designed for RPB, specifically Wang Hao's, continuous looping in both wings while its brother Hurricane King is more designed for big powerful forehand shots from Wang LiQin. I would say this blade is for players with very offensive tactics in service receive and attack, also physically fit players as it requires power from the actual players to perform well, if you focus more on the control side then YEO would probably do you better. Also this blades trajectory is relatively high so you will have to loop most of the time unless you are REALLY close to the table.

I find it weird that this doesn't have a review..
but when I check other websites it is said to be the one of the most popular penhold blades...
I don't know the difference between this blade and the Hurrucane Hao 656 but I like this blade.
I asked TT11 to lacquer the blade..
I put Nittaku fastarc G-1 as forehand rubber
and Victas V01 Stiff as rpb rubber..
I love the control on forehand, you can produce great spins with decent speed..
I have difficulty in short pushes though this is probably me needing to adjust my technique.
The best part of this blade is the consistency with the rpb, it feels good..
The part I didn't like is that there are vibration in the handle when I push the ball short..
