The best control among the PBO blades. The outer hinoki ply is combined with a ZLC layer that produces good feedback to the hand with a good amount of control. A pure looper's blade but also fast enough for power-play. Comparable to Butterfly Amultart ZLC.

The layered structure of the single veneers is what makes the JOOLA Nobilis Blade special. The PBO-c fibers are placed directly on top of the Kiri core veneer. In addition to a good playing feel, the 1.2mm hard Hinoki outer veneers give the blade a prolonged ball contact time and allow for the most extreme spin on a ball, creating a high trajectory. This construction gives the blade stability, elasticity and a lot of force, enabling very precise play even at high speed. The interaction of the individual components makes the JOOLA Nobilis PBO an offensive blade that is more than just fast and balanced with good spin and precise, pure feeling. The JOOLA Nobilis PBO-c is in its own class!

• Very offensive 3+2 ply blade
• PBO-c fibers provides an enlarged sweet spot and improved acceleration
• Suitable for the modern offensive player who plays with great speed
• Developed for the ABS Ball

Reviews of JOOLA Nobilis PBO-c (16)

I absolutely love this blade. I'm currently using it in penhold with h8-80 on both sides. There is plenty of speed and control in the blade but the hinoki outer allows me to scale power very well. Granting the ability for a wide range of quality shots. There is a bit less dwell time than other blades, so prioritize rubbers that have that naturally. Very bouncy rubbers cause the all blade characteristics to not show. I'd say this blade can shine in any range from table considering the control, but gives the biggest advantage close to mid range from table. Where the hinoki can soak up any pressure and redirecting rather the ball I'd a breeze.

The blade is hard to find a rubber that matches it while allowing all shots to be played at a good level. With faster rubbers touch shots and slower topspin are possible but was very difficult to get the same quality as other blades. Since the blade has a lot of speed and control, slower rubbers shine. Since I like tackies rubbers this would be the h8-80. It's the most consistent and deadly combo I've found so far.

The best table tennis racket is amazing. Strong attack, very balanced defense and controls create a very stable feeling. Worth the money spent.

This is a blade I am conflicted about.
On the paper, it has everything I appreciate: a thick hinoki layer and PBO. Those are my favorite materials. Beautiful construction.
But when I had it in my hand, I didn't like the weight, the thickness, the handle (very wide at the base).
It took me a long time to find a good rubber to match. I tried V>22, V>15, VJC>07, H3-50, Vega Europe, Vega Japan, MX-P, Quantum X pro, K3, and hated playing with all of them...
But I wanted to like this blade so hard that I kept trying.
Tibhar Speedy Spin 1.0 was a pleasant match, the light and thin sponge compensated for the thick and heavy blade. It offered an amazing control and feedback, but it was VERY slow (Speedy Spin isn't speedy anymore in the age of P-ball). My usual partner just laughed at my shots.
Now I have found a good combo with Nittaku Hammond Z2, I have only played a couple of hours but the results are encouraging. I will update my review according to my findings.

Coming from a Andro Treiber Z this blade has amazing touch around the net and much control/feeling but you still have reasonable power from mid-distance. As someone else below the line has stated this should be great for playing against the awkward sods for the short game. The Victus Extra Ventus plays really sweetly in combination with this blade. So I naturally suggest it is better to pair with harder rubbers although i confess haven't used a softer rubber.
