Reviews of Yasaka Mark V (164)

I've used this rubber on my FH with Yasaka Sweden Extra, this rubber seems off to me. It might've been my playstyle doesn't suit the purpose of this rubber.
I Find it hard to attack with this rubber, lacks of speed and spin. But this rubber is really "control" type monster, I find it really easy to place the ball I want anywhere on the table. I have been thinking to paste it in OFF type blade to see its behavior.
also I found it hard to perfom passive block near the table with this blade (also with Yasaka Mark V M2 on my BH) the ball always uncontrollable fly to oblivion. Do I have skill issue? Maybe, but I can perform well with other rubber (Yinhe Mercury 2, Andro GTT 45).

Great rubber for a defensive game with plenty of control. I bought it when I was still a beginner in table tennis, and it was perfect for learning the basics without a rubber that makes the ball too bouncy. The control you have with it is amazing, and once you get used to it, it's hard to make mistakes. Its biggest downside is that it doesnt have much speed, and you cant generate a lot of spin. The spin is decent, but if you want to attack with this rubber, it's challenging because you can't add much speed to the ball. If you're looking for control with more speed, I recommend pairing it with a carbon blade.

Good quality rubber indeed.
I would recommend this to players from beginner to intermediate level. It's good to practice and improve your technique. I used it on my backhand with DHS pg7. Drive, topspin and chops were fine. It has good control and descent speed, so one can play with full stroke. Good value for money.

Best rubber for begginers. But for better intermidiates it is slow. Yinhe mercury 2 great cheap alternative.

After many years of not playing I started with Mark V max on FH and 2.0 on BH and glued them on Ma Lin Extra Offensive. It gave me lots of control, I could recall what I learned years ago and polish my technique. After couple of months I started missing speed. My friend gave me Waldner Senso Carbon. WOW!!! The rubbers underwent a miraculous metamorphosis. From kind of slow, with almost no spin to fast, with nice spin and still with high control. Great loops, easy blocks, top spins and don't require as much power as with a wooden blade. These rubbers are great and can be a fast, precise weapon with OFF carbon blade.
