Nittaku Fastarc C-1
The Nittaku Fastarc C-1 rubber is "Fast" with an "Arc"! It is the ingenious creation from Nittaku combining a “tension spin” top sheet with a “soft strong sponge”. It takes the best attributes from earlier Fastarc rubbers: G-1 and S-1 and utilizes them to make the new Fastarc C-1. This combination creates an incredible grip and speed to allow players to create artistic shots.

I use this rubber after FastArc G1, Xiom Omega V pro, Xiom Omega VII, Thibar MX-S. Compared to Omega V Pro, let say that C1 is Mark V : no catapult effect, soft contact, ball on table. Compared to MX-S : if you are rightly placed and manage the low throw, MX-S will allow you to kill the point with a sure winner. C1 is slower. But C1 is much easier to use in all sorts of situations, and allows also to score winners, because the ball has got rotation and you can get angles. C1 is very much controlled, still fast. Lower throw than G1, but not low. Block is ok. Service is good. Chop is very good. And touch play at the net is extremely easy. The rubber is not bouncy so one can play with ease very short strokes, as well as long ones. The rubber is a tensor that does not feel like a tensor. The plus compared to G1 is the softness that allows for more rotation, more angles, and more control. In the end, I can play more aggressively and on occasion faster than I would play with G1. At the beginning, I was longing for FastArc G1 remarkable pace and high throw. But after a period of adaptation, I do not regret to have moved to C1.

High quality rubber. Sponge is hard enough to produce a lot of speed but the rubber is quite soft what is giving good amount of control what is especially noticable in active block/smashes. I had problems only to used to FH topspin-topspin attacks but it's maybe caused by jump from tacky chinese type rubber. Overall It's worth money.

I dont know why some people say that it is inferior to G-1. Its same top sheet. Being a bit softer than G-1, 45 degrees (not a soft rubber) it is a little slower than G-1. But still fast. Still great spin. Durability is best with G-1. Not bouncy like some tensor runners. Superb control. Best BH. Though I loved it on FH too. One of the best.
