Reviews of Andro Impuls Powersponge (5)

This is one of the most controllable inverted rubber I have played with so far. I use it on the FH of an All+ custom blade. It has almost as much speed as my former Joola Max 450 (with 2.0 mm sponge) but more control. I used it for the second time on Wednesday, during a tournament, when it helped me administer a clear 2-0 to a guy who used to beat me regularly. He has an anti-spin on on side and a sandwich on the other. Both rubbers create serious problems to most of his opponents, as they did to me when I had Joola Maxx on my FH. Not anymore. I can hit all the balls as if they come from a normal inverted rubber.

This rubber has one of the best Control Out there. Tried many rubbers from Donic Acuda s3, Butterfly T80Fx to Xiom vega. Very good at incoming spin and for Giving fast Back Spin. Love it.

A good controllable rubber, that can be played with at many different levels. Myself, I played with it on both sides, 2.2 on FH and 2.0 on BH. It's a medium-soft rubber, but has many gears and can produce a decent amount of speed. It's a very spinny rubber, the most spinny I've played with. This rubber is relatively easy to control, therefore suiteable for every starting table tennis player that has mastered the basic strokes.
It has many gears, therefore it is possible to play with very much spin, or with more speed.

In the first few hours, it has a slightly higher throw angle. After that, it has a medium throw angle.

It's hardness is medium-soft. It's harder than the Andro Impuls Speed, but softer than the Andro Impuls. Also, it is a rather light rubber.

I've played with this rubber for a year now, approximately 6 hours a week. Only in the last few weeks have I started to notice a decrease in spin that I'm able to give with this rubber. Therefore it is very durable.

This rubber is suitable for spinny looping players, it is useful as a rubber for advanced youth players and because of it's good control it's an option for blockers.

Myself, I am a spinny looper on my forehand and a hitter and blocker on my backhand. Spin on serves isn't very good though.

This is actually quite an amazing rubber, the topsheet is surprisingly well suited to spin. Initial tensor bounce is there so you need to break it in before short game gets better.

Although it is very light, it's actually former than rubbers in this weight category and is hard to bottom out.
