Donic BlueGrip C2 is for uncompromising offensive players that rely on speed and spin.

Powerful catapult effect, incredibly spinny.

Technology: Full tension sponge, tacky topsheet. Slightly softer and significantly lighter than the C1 with values of 55° and 80g respectively.

THE FUTURE IS ALREADY HERE
Versions V1 and R1 of the BlueGrip series were already a revolution: The best of both worlds in one rubber! Now Donic is taking this development one step further. With the BlueGrip C1 and C2, Donic has added two versions to this series that outshine everything that has come before them.

The Donic BlueGrip has a tacky, Chinese-style topsheet, along with a sponge with a powerful catapult effect and incredible dynamic properties, the likes of which we only see from rubbers from Japan or Germany. But there is more – these dynamic properties have now been increased even further.

With a sponge hardness of 60°, the C1 version gives the ball an even greater arc when playing topspin strokes and provides even more speed, while the C2 has a slightly softer sponge and subtle differences in the pimple geometry, all of which provides further support for the softer playing feel.

Reviews of Donic BlueGrip C2 (10)

Before using the BlueGrip I had a BlueStar A1 in my forehand (I use Victas Curl P1V on my BH with a Diode V as blade), and it was the kind of rubber that had strong loops and perfect for turning the blade to counterloop with my backhand inside the table. Looks like I was just at the middle of the way, the C2 is 10x better than the BlueStar in every aspect, speed, spin, control and durability. Right now, I've been using the rubber for about 2 months and it still has the same tackiness, speed, control and spin of the first day. My tip: clean it once a week carefully and with just a bit of cleaner and it's capabillities will last longer.

I can only compare this rubber with BTF Rozena. And it beats it on all levels. Its better in all ways. Even better control.

The BlueGrip C2 rubber is a Chinese style rubber and it generates a lot of spin and control and also lots of speed

I changed to C2 from DHS Skyline NEO 2 for more more effortless catapult and faster blocks. The blue sponge feels unique. Top sheet needs careful protection to retain the small tackiness. Probably one of the best European hybrids. A little boosting makes the max sponge version excel further.

P.S.
Last rubbers that were ordered from TT11 the rubbers are not sticky anymore and they don't hold the ball. Now it's a simple hard tensor with no dwell time which is impossible to play with. :(. -------->

Used to be:
Excellent rubber for active Forehand and backhand play. I like that it's alittle sticky and gives you alittle extra dwell time on power shots. But the last batches that I ordered were absolutely without tackiness. And it's a different rubber. I hope that it's only in last batches like this and Donic will make the rubber sticky again in new batches.
