For more than three decades, DONIC has been researching the vibration behavior of table tennis rackets. In the 1990s, for example, DONIC used DICON and Senso technology to translate this research into series products that revolutionized table tennis racket wood construction. In the year 2000 the DONIC Impuls technology was added. It became the centerpiece of this best-selling series through its soft-gluing process for the Waldner Impuls 6.0 and 6.5 and Persson 7.0 and 7.5, respectively.

Exceptional blade for allrounder. Enough speed, amazing feel and touch, perfect control. Awesome finish quality. Previously played with Ligna All, it was bit too stiff with Tenergy Hard on FH, thus troublesome in short game and receive. Impuls 6.5 softens the rubber feel substantially, adding control with minimum speed loss. In result, you keep enough power and speed when matching with hard rubber, in return you get unequalled control. Short game in very precise, as well as serve receive. If you look for dynamic and fast blade, look elsewhere. If your target is controlled play, both close to the table and in 2 - 3 zone, probably there is no better choice. This blade in unique and saying this I admit it after I tried many all/all + blades (10 + in my collection). Feels somewhat like bit muted Niitaku Violin with more gears or softer and bit slower Donic Appelgren WC 89, with but more flex and control. Speed and control ratio (7/10) given by DONIC is precise. Highly recommended.
